Young people in Ghana face a number of sexual and reproductive health issues, including high levels of unmet need for family planning, early pregnancy and childbirth, and unsafe abortion. We surveyed 350 males and females aged 18-24 living in Accra to explore the internal and external determinates of contraception use and use of services that address early/teen pregnancy, unintended pregnancy, and unsafe abortion among youth. The findings of this study will help service providers to tailor programs to better meet the needs of young people in urban Ghana.
