Increasing access to contraception is a key focus of Ibis’s work, and we aim to make existing methods easier to use by generating data to support less medicalized provision of contraceptive methods and advocating for more evidence-based provision of methods. This project culled the evidence on contraceptive provision and compare it to actual labeling and guidelines currently in use by the FDA, with the ultimate goal of simplifying directions and thereby increasing women’s continued use of contraception. We continually look for opportunities, including testimony at the FDA, to advocate for less medicalized use of contraceptive methods.
